  • The Cookout 2023

    We took it back to Fairmont Park for year two of “The Cookout.” With over 200+ people in attendance, we listened to live entertainment, played games and ate great food!

  • OurSundays Kickball

    We took it to the field on Tuesday evenings to play, laugh and kick ball. For two seasons we gave it our best go and beating our competitors. We almost won!

    Film Screening

    In the spirit of the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, we saw a premiere of “Young. Wild. Free.” at the Broadway Centre Cinemas.

  • The Cookout 2022

    Fun in the sun for “The Cookout.” Our inaugural summer event for OurSundays, black folks from across the state came together to fellowship and have a great time!

  • Ugly Sweater: Before You Go Home

    The 2nd annual Ugly Sweater Party was once again a great event. Though a smaller group in year two, we had no shortage of good vibes. Participants decorated gingerbread-cookies, sang karaoke songs, and played games.

  • Fear Factory + Woodbine

    On October 22, we visited Woodbine Food Hall for fellowship. Before ending the evening we took a trip to one of Salt Lake City’s best haunted houses “Fear Factory” for some late night and spooky fun.

  • Brunch

    To celebrate birthdays and to gather, we met up at this black owned restaurant to break bread and sign happy birthday!

  • Bowling

    We took over the lanes at All Star bowling alley.

  • Karaoke

    We shut The Tavernernacle down! Our crew came ready to belt out their favorite shower songs. From Bill Withers to Tina Turner to Aerosmith, we went prepared to serenade the masses with several music favorites.

  • Ugly Sweater Party

    On December 12, 2021, we hosted the inaugural Ugly Sweater Party at the Black Cultural Center. Christmas karaoke, games, an ugly sweater contest, and even an appearance from Mr. and Mrs. Claus were some of our favorite moments.
